The Lightwriter

Background

For my graduate level Mechatronics course, I made a light painting robot using an MSP 432 microcontroller and readily available 5V stepper motors. The concept is based on a polar plotter, which allows for various shapes to be drawn while taking up less space than a traditional XY gantry system.
